Getting relief money to families who had lost everything
U.S. state government agencies — hurricane recovery and COVID relief programs, multiple states. 100K+ families reached, multi-state deployment, live in weeks.
Challenge: After a hurricane, families had lost homes and income. When Treasury began pushing COVID relief through the states, agencies needed systems live in weeks that could take applications from huge numbers of residents, rank them fairly by need, and pay them out inside federal rules.
Solution: We built the whole lifecycle: intake, automatic ranking by damage severity and financial need, document verification, award calculation, and official award letters. One architecture that could carry different policy rules across different state programs.
Result: Tens of thousands of displaced families received hurricane relief. Across the COVID programs, the systems served hundreds of thousands more, with fair prioritisation, policy compliance and audit readiness.
AWS spend cut over 40% in three months
Building Intelligence — infrastructure ownership for a visitor management platform. 40%+ AWS spend cut, 90+ tickets resolved, 3 months.
Challenge: Building Intelligence runs visitor management for some of the most demanding venues in the country. As they scaled, their AWS bill scaled with them, and not always in the right direction.
Solution: We came in to own the infrastructure alongside their engineers as the previous ops team rolled off. In three months we worked through more than 90 tickets: routine maintenance plus targeted cost work — unused storage from old migrations, oversized instances, idle compute. The biggest single win was a database migration run across a series of small planned windows.
Result: Spend down over 40% from its peak in three months, with minimal customer disruption. The engineers we placed still own that infrastructure alongside the in-house team.
"When you're partnering on infrastructure ownership, trust matters. The engineers Agentic staffed alongside our team earned that trust quickly, and delivered." — Dan Seeley, Chief Product & Technology Officer, Building Intelligence
Violence against nurses, finally getting reported
Hospital workplace safety — an OSHA compliance platform running on the hospital's own Microsoft environment. 1 in 8 incidents reported today, $165,514 per willful OSHA violation, $18.27B annual cost across U.S. hospitals.
Challenge: Most violence against healthcare workers never gets reported. Studies put official reporting as low as one in eight, partly because the OSHA forms are buried and slow to fill in after a twelve-hour shift.
Solution: A nurse says what happened, out loud, in their own words. A Copilot Studio agent captures the OSHA 301 fields from that and generates the official 300, 300A and 301 forms, inside the hospital's existing Microsoft environment, so incident data never leaves their HIPAA perimeter.
Result: Reporting becomes one spoken sentence. Every incident turns into auditable evidence that a prevention program is actually operating.
"This is genius. Taking the information from the Form 301 and putting it in there, and not only the ability to type in things that then auto-fill that form, but that I can dictate it." — Dr. Kelly Austin, PsyD, VP, Hospital Workplace Violence, KLA Risk Consulting
"The dream was to revolutionize the industry when it comes to this, and also protect the people. Gus and his team. I am blown away with the quality." — Jeffrey Jenkins, concept creator, workplace violence platform
120 hours of manual grading became 40
Large federal organization, and the agency's first approved generative AI deployment. $462K saved every year, 3,000 hours returned yearly.
Challenge: Every interview was conducted and graded by hand, 120 hours a batch. Separately, the organization needed to adopt generative AI and had no approved pathway, no precedent and no process.
Solution: We built a system that replaced both the interviewing and the transcript analysis end to end, and walked the security and compliance reviews in parallel.
Result: Batches dropped from 120 hours to 40, returning 3,000 hours and $462,000 a year, plus the agency's first enterprise-approved generative AI deployment.
Nine PDF forms became one conversation
700-person professional services firm — requests between HR, Accounting, Leadership and IT. 9 forms to 1, approval time projected from days to hours, zero developer tickets to change it.
Challenge: Requests between teams moved as nine separate PDF forms, bouncing between HR, Accounting, Leadership and IT. Slow, easy to get wrong, and impossible for HR to control.
Solution: One chat conversation that adapts to whatever the person is asking for, then starts Teams and Outlook approvals routed to the right departments. HR changes what it asks, where it routes and when it chases, in plain English.
Result: Nine forms collapsed into one conversation, with approval times projected to fall from days to hours. We will publish the verified numbers once the firm has run a full quarter on it.
Smaller engagements
- Major Caribbean energy provider — spreadsheets became a governed system. An operations department of more than fifty people tracked invoices and contracts in spreadsheets. We built a proper record management system; data entry time dropped sharply and reporting got materially more accurate. Two FTEs' worth of time returned.
- Global consulting firm — a $47K research vendor, gone. The PR team paid an outside vendor more than $47,000 a year for manual web research. We built an AI research tool that finds and structures what they need automatically.
- Fintech startup, fiduciary services — a polished proof of concept, fast. A mobile app proof of concept good enough to show investors, delivered faster and cheaper than the other developers they had quoted.
Before Agentic Software: the work that led to the company.
- Legal marketing firm, age 19 — automated my own job, then doubled the company's profits. A 25-person team did manual data entry. Doing the work myself, I realised 80% of it was repetitive web extraction, so I built an automation that replaced the process and handed it to the company. Profits doubled and seventeen people were laid off. $3M+ saved over time.
- Defense & security contractor, first technical hire — a full AI security platform from a blank slate. Architected the platform on AWS with facial recognition, visitor management and a chatbot, shipped to iOS, Android, web and physical kiosks.
